Egle, a published screen printer, textile designer, and illustrator, calls Brisbane home. Her roots trace back to Lithuania, yet she was raised amidst the cultural richness of Scotland. Her education took her through the corridors of creativity at Dundee's Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design and London's prestigious Central Saint Martins, specializing in Printed Textiles. Fueled by an enduring passion for globetrotting, exploration, and the art of photography, she infuses her creations with the essence of these experiences, meticulously crafting intricate and linear illustrations.
Presently, Egle’s artistic endeavors immerse themselves in showcasing the splendour of Australia’s coastline, the lushness of its vegetation, the vibrant beach and surf lifestyle, capturing the very essence of the landscapes and everything that lies within.
In 2018, Egle made the move to Australia. Alongside crafting her illustrations, she imparts her expertise in art and design to high school students, sharing her passion for creativity within the classroom.
